It is not uncommon for a family or
business to spend 50% or more of their telephone call costs on fixed line to
cell calls. The FX-300 will
interconnect your cell (GSM) service with either your home or office PSTN
(analog) line, office PBX, or your VOIP device and enable you to save on all
your family or business member's cell phones expenses by taking advantage of
free cell to cell calls offered by most cell
service providers.
The
FX-300 has a built-in cell modem (GSM tri-band) and accepts standard SIM cards from
GSM service providers worldwide.
You will need to purchase an additional SIM card from your GSM
service provider and install it in the FX-300.
The FX-300 then effectively becomes an additional member of your cell
group or network and with most GSM service providers (Cingular, AT&T,
T-Mobile, etc.) all your cell phone calls to any other cell phones in the same
group/network are free. For example Cingular to Cingular cell phone calls
are all free regardless of time of day. So in most cases the only charges you will incur
by adding the FX-300 to your cell group will be the monthly charge
for the new SIM card/number, which in most cases is less than $10/mo.
How do I save on all my family or
business member's cell phones expenses by using the FX-300 GSM Call
Director?
First, you will save on all your group member's (family or
business) inbound cell phone expenses by making your calls from the home or
office to all your family or business member's cell phones through the
FX-300. Effectively, eliminating any mobile charges for all calls from
your home or office to any of your group member's cell phones.
Secondly, you will also save on all your group member's
(family or business) outbound cell phone expenses if all chargeable outbound
calls (member's cell calls to any non group member phone number) are
routed through the FX-300 and terminated over your PSTN or VOIP service at a
significantly lower cost.
-
To route all your group member's (family or
business) chargeable outbound cell phone calls through the FX-300
connected to your home or office PSTN line (see illustrations 2 and 3
below) they simply first call from their cell phone to the phone number
assigned to the SIM chip installed in the FX-300 and they will be
automatically connected to your home or office PSTN line and then be able to
make their outbound calls over the PSTN line. This process can
be automated by adding the phone number
assigned to the SIM chip installed in the FX-300 to all the phone numbers in
your member's cell phones' phone book entries.

To route all your group member's (family or
business) chargeable outbound cell phone calls through the FX-300
connected to your VOIP service (see illustration 1 below) they simply
first call from their cell phone to the phone number
assigned to the SIM chip installed in the FX-300 and they will be
automatically connected to your VOIP service and then be able to make their
outbound calls over the VOIP line. This process can be automated
by adding the phone number
assigned to the SIM chip installed in the FX-300 to all the phone numbers in
your member's cell phones' phone book entries. With the FX-300 your VOIP service will be available to you anywhere
you have cell service saving you both time and money.
Finally, business can further benefit
from deploying the FX-300 in all their branch offices and routing all calls
from one office to another office through the FX-300s. Effectively,
eliminating any long distance charges for all office to office calls.
Moreover, all your business cell phone users can call any branch office for free
and any branch office can call any business cell phone for free by routing these
calls through the FX-300
